Multi-version chair assembly press.

Description

This machine was designed to accept and assembly multiple versions of a commercial chair. The base product is loaded into the machine prior to the operation; it detects the product version and reconfigures its nesting blocks accordingly. The remaining components are added and the operator initiates the assembly process. The machine presses downward with the servo driven actuator to complete the assembly. Custom machine design was completed in SolidWorks.
